Last night I watched Parish, a movie set in the tobacco country of the Connecticut River Valley released in 1961. A drama starting, Claudette Colbert. I may have to revise my list of great beauties of the twentieth century. She deserves a nomination. She, also starred in Cleopatra (1934) before Elizabeth Taylor was born.
Connecticut shade-grown leaf is prized as a cigar wrapper as much as Havana is for as a "filler".
