Today we are talking to Carla B. Estruch, translator and editor at Crononauta. You remember Crononauta from previous episodes? This is the small Spanish publisher which publishes only female and non-binary science fiction authors.

In this episode Carla will talk about their adventures in translation to Spanish, including the snail story you heard in the beginning. Translation of science fiction and fantasy is what keeps the engines of SFF running across the world and what create new fans and keeps old fans who are starved for new books and stories. The translators have their own stories, their own tales.
Carla will talk about non-binary science fiction authors, about how the establishment in Spain treats that, and many more things.
