Jesus gave three major teachings in the Gospels. They are the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5-7), The Upper Room Discourse (John 13-17), and the Olivet Discourse (Matthew 24-25, Luke 21, Mark 13).

We want everyone in our spiritual family to have clarity on each of Jesus’ key messages so that we can be disciples who are wise, faithful, peaceful, and anchored to truth, while living in a time of increasing challenge and crisis in the earth.

Jesus shared the Upper Room and Olivet discourses in private with His disciples on the last week of His life. The Olivet Discourse took place on Tuesday and the Upper Room discourse took place on Thursday.

The Olivet Discourse is Jesus’ most detailed teaching on the end of the age and the age to come. His purpose was to answer the disciples’ questions about the impending judgment on Jerusalem, the end of the age, and His return (Matthew 24:3).

We are going to approach our study of the Olivet Discourse by working through the four key timeframes that Jesus identifies. They are

The Beginning of Birth Pangs

The (Great) Tribulation

After the Tribulation

The Age to Come
