Jesus, James, and Paul declare to the Church that God’s plan for His people is for them to act for the benefit of others around them.
When we do good works, it pleases God and forms Christ in us. We are called to represent the Gospel individually and corporately (Titus 2:14, 3:8, 3:14; 1 Peter 2:12-16; Hebrews 10:24).
