The entertainment giant recently stated they’re wanting to partner with more developer to tell unique stories with their IP, which has a lot of people using the phrase “what if”. So this week, Mike and I sit down to do just that, by examining how Disney has recently found the recipe for success by outsourcing game development, how diverse that back catalog is with the recent 20th Century Fox acquisition, and of course, who would make a match made in heaven when developing these titles. Plus, Rainbow Six Siege is officially launching on Xbox Series X, but what does that mean for the current player base? Also, Remedy Entertainment is working on multiple new projects (cough, cough, please be an Alan Wake sequel cough cough) ...cough ugh excuse me, something in my throat...anyways...including a new service based title. We put on our tin foils hats to try to figure out what they might be working on.
