In the latest interview of our series, Bernard is joined by his brother and fellow former inter-county footballer, Alan to discuss the Pat Gilroy years.
The two discussed Gilroy's unorthodox approach to man management, how he got the best out of the entire Dublin squad and Mickey Whelan's legacy as a trainer.
They recount their favourite memories playing for the Dubs and discuss the jubilation and relief that the squad felt in 2011 after finally bringing the Sam Maguire back to the capital following 16 years of heartache.
