A bit later than I wanted and mostly because of work commitments not letting me publish this episode on time, here’s our first attempt to the Game Buffet!
But before we start on the buffet, though, we discuss what’s probably one of the most controversial Kickstarter project to date. The Emperor’s New Clothes. By now this project is well and truly over, but its quirky and unique approach to boardgames has meant is indeed not for everyone.
We also discuss, well… argue… about the qualities of the art direction in the latest series of games by AEG; Mercante, Dominare and Courtier.
And lastly, the Game Buffet. This buffet’s theme: Guilty Pleasures. This is a new thing we’re trying, so your feedback could be very much appreciated.
Each one of us proposes a series of games and tell the reasons why that game should be featured in the top 10 of the list. Then we discuss why the game should or shouldn’t be in the list, and if it should be in a high or low position.
