For those of us in the Northern hemisphere it has been a long, and arduous winter. 
But just take a look outside and you’ll see the first green shoots of spring as the Daffodils and Tulips bring some much needed colour to the landscape.
They also bring with them the nectar which supports countless species too - chief among them of course being the humble bumblebee.
But is one nectar better than another? And how do bees know which plant is best?
Dr. Jonathan Pattrick, from the Department of Zoology at the Oxford University joined Jonathan to discuss.
