In this podcast, Marcus talks to Kane Talbot from Hamamatsu Photonics and we focus on their innovative technology and why this enables performance advantages.

Hamamatsu Photonics is one of the only companies in the world that develops a wide range of both light sensors, such as photomultiplier tubes and photodiodes, and light sources such as lasers, LEDs, and measurement lamps. The components they manufacture measure and generate not only visible light, but also ultra-low, ultraviolet, infrared, and x-ray light.

Hamamatsu Photonics has developed a "Complete Proposal for Innovative Printing", using their optical technologies to make a range of solutions for a variety of printing applications.

The demand for higher speeds, quality and value in printing markets has been increasing in recent years and Hamamatsu has come face to face with numerous challenges with their customers and aims to solve them with the know-how accumulated during that time.

Kane Talbot, who is leading the printing business in the UK, will be delivering a talk at FuturePrint TECH entitled, OPTIMISING UV-LEDS FOR INDUSTRIAL INKJET APPLICATIONS.

Kane Talbot graduated with a Masters degree in Physics from Loughborough University in 2016. Since then, he has been working as part of the Hamamatsu Photonics team, helping provide optical solutions to customers for a large variety of industrial application areas. A key area of his work involves working with the printing market to optimise for a wide range of applications across the entire printing process.
