When we last spoke with Dani, the explorer and scientist living in Neustadt an der Havel near Old Berlin, the former leaders of the Children of the Earth had fled with the defunct cult’s weapons. But could they persevere without food growers on Earth in a universe where ecosystems had collapsed? Dani and the survivors feared their return, but they couldn’t have anticipated the arrival of the Toopin regime.
