Episode 181 | ”Actual Fake Show”

Si & Veronica are feeling the magic for episode 181! We send condolences to the friends, family, and fellow castmates of Willie Garson with his recent death. “The Activist” TV show must have heard Vee on last week’s episode as they decided to reformat the competition show to just being one documentary special. Jessica from season one of Love is Blind is engaged to her hot LA doctor bf. Jeopardy is still in search of a full time host to follow Alex Trebek, but Ken Jennings and Mayim Bialek will finish out the year as hosts. The Emmys weren’t fully restricted to Zoom this year, but Seth Rogen’s presentation of an award made it seem like they weren’t super COVID safe. Ted Lasso took home a lot of the comedy category of the Emmy awards. Vee went “Yikes!” to the full terrifying story of Gabby Petito and her death. She also went yikes to the fact that a young white woman’s story tends to get more press than that of the many missing women of color and indigineous nations. This week on the beach was decently boring except for the tropical storm that led the lovebirds to the hotel for a few days.
