Sequels are everywhere. We can't escape them, and with each passing day we're given a new TV sequel, another movie in a series or extended universe, or even a book that revisits a world published long ago. No book was a bigger sequel this year than Margaret Atwood's, The Testaments. Avid book reader and overworked Grad student Emma Calabrese stops by Furthermore to lend me her Handmaid's Tale expertise. We talk good books Emma's read this year, what qualifies as Science Fiction, and how much the 2017 Hulu show affected this year's Booker Prize Winner. How many more sequels do we need?
