Funkier Radio Episode 94 - SSABES Guest Mix

This was one of those shows that I really enjoyed! Something clicked and I was loving the tunes throughout the first hour. Never afraid of a BPM jump on this show, I took things from a woozy 93bpm to a blistering 128 in the blink of an eye, so we had the full range from smoky chillout to stomping disco and lots in between. Almost enjoyed myself too much for a Monday night!

In hour 2 we had a returning guest - the talented visual artist and DJ SSABES from Berlin. SSABES was guest on my show for Episode 68 pretty much dead on a year ago, and he smashed it back then. Really pleased to get him back on, and pleased to say he’s turned in another excellent mix, starting things mellow and laid back, then building a bit, but not too much. Keeping things classy - some disco, some nice refined house, a few slightly more ghetto bits, some soulful stuff. Really wonderful selections, and I’m grateful to SSABES for such a lovely mix.
