Wuhan coronavirus: winding down, or only getting started? Shocking new details emerge from social media accounts in China.

A variety of fairly horrific social media footage and images — not all of which can be confirmed as authentic at the moment — has emerged from China. Its government’s approach to the novel coronavirus, which has so far killed at least 304 people in China and has infected at least 14,000 worldwide, has taken a much more aggressive turn over the last 48 hours.

Their government has ordered a full ban on all burials and funerals of coronavirus victims, instead directing that health authorities immediately seal the dead off, and incinerate their remains, to prevent further spread.

Some, including the popular news blog Zerohedge which was just recently purged from Twitter for its coverage of the Wuhan coronavirus, claim that the number of infected in mainland China is in the 100,000s already — and that makeshift new hospitals being built on the outskirts of Wuhan with 24/7 construction crews are essentially “prisons” where the infected are sent to die.

What else we know so far:

Senator Tom Cotton explained that experts have determined the Wuhan “wet market” was NOT the origin point for the virus — and it instead may have originated from the “Wuhan Institute of Virology, the country’s foremost virus research facility,” according to Western Journal.

US authorities have initiated the first federal quarantine on American soil in 50 years, with the Dept. of Defense making preparations for at least 1,000 beds to be available at quarantine sites in several US states, with eventual capacity able to expand beyond 100,000 beds if necessary.

Russian military planes have begun extracting, at no cost, Russian citizens from mainland China. Russia and several other countries have already restricted Chinese visitors from entering; the United States has begun restricting all “Chinese foreign nationals” from entering the US via plane, unless they have immediate family in the US.
