Chinese markets fell broadly as concerns about Evergrande’s failing investments begin to scare international markets. The negative news out of China dragged down the Dow Jones nearly 800 points on Monday as of early afternoon.

Cryptos moved lower as well on Monday, although it doesn’t appear that Evergrande owns any cryptocurrencies in its portfolio or direct cryptocurrency exposure.

In pandemic news, Pfizer has deemed its vaccine for 5 to 11 year olds safe, despite a rising tidal wave of anger online on places like Reddit, Facebook, and TikTok from parents who say the vaccine doesn’t work, even causes severe problems in some children who’ve taken it thus far. The online outcry is at complete odds with the medical establishment, odd to say the least.
