Paul recently published an article relating to Simon Sinek’s principle of ‘knowing your why’ which created a lot of traction, interest and controversy! The boys discussed what it means to them and how it plays out in their businesses:

Paul questioned whether or not we needed to be aware of this ‘why’, and if it was an overused and overrated term. He’s more focused on the implementation of who you are on a day to day basis with your clients.

Dave feels that clients themselves should experience your ‘why’ through their dealings with you, and believes it to be important to know why you’re getting up in the morning – which is not the case for a lot of accountants.
