In this episode, co-hosts Bob Deraney and Hank Morse talk with Alyssa Gagliardi, a Cornell University graduate and the current Northeast Representative for the Professional Women's Hockey Players Association. Alyssa grew up in North Carolina and went to Shattuck St. Mary's High School in Minnesota before attending Cornell. In part one of this two part podcast, Bob and Hank talk with Alyssa about the difficulties of playing youth hockey in the Raleigh area, her youth hockey experience playing on girls and boys teams, then going away to school in Minnesota when she was only 14, before eventually attending Cornell.
