Howie Mandel has been making national audiences laugh for four decades as a stand-up comedian and actor and Emmy nominated TV host of “Deal or No Deal.” He is a judge on the 14th season of America’s Got Talent. Mandel is executive producer of many shows through his production company. Mandel’s versatile career has encompassed virtually all entertainment platforms, including television, film and stage.

Mandel is especially health-conscious and is on a campaign to tell everyone how to live better with healthy cholesterol in a project called Take Cholesterol To Heart.

He is currently touring the nation for his latest stand-up comedy show and performed on May 1st at the Arcada Theatre in St. Charles.

While in the Chicago area, Mandel called into the the Register Star newsroom to chat with podcast producer and host, Scott P. Yates, about all these topics and more.
