This week is episode no 22. Famous Dave Flynn. Dave and I go back a long way, we have been in bands together for years and he was kind enough to come on and drop some pearls of wisdom from his long and varied musical career.

Dave is what I like to think of as a musical chameleon. Instrumentally he plays Guitar, Bass, he is a singer and choirmaster, ninja session player. And he knows about a million songs he is a human jukebox and I mean that in a good way. If you ever find yourself in Sligo town and find Dave playing a gig I’ll bet you could go up to him ask for the most obscure of songs and he would probably give you a great rendition.

but I think what really stands out for me is his vast musical knowledge and his willingness to share that knowledge in a generous an authentic way. It really speaks to his passion and vocation to music and being a musician in general. Website  | Youtube |
