Episode 19 was stirred by painful news: the diagnosis of a family member's terminal cancer. Learning about this was a kick in the gut and had us reflecting on what we are grateful for and why our health is so important to our ability to travel and work abroad. Karen shares several quotes about gratitude that inspire her, and we both discuss why recognizing gratitude is so important to us — and how it has helped us get to where we are today. We are fortunate and grateful to be employed, have our health and be in a safe and comfortable situation in Bariloche, Argentina.
This episode is for Maria. We love you very much!
