𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗮 𝗛𝗼𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱: “My mom and dad raised my sister and I to know that whatever dream we had, we could achieve it. I graduated high school in 1980 and went into the corporate world. I had no idea there was this perception that women couldn't do whatever they wanted. It was a shock because there was never any dream I had that I thought for one minute I couldn't achieve. I didn't know there was gender inequality. I didn't know there was a pay gap and that was such a gift.

I didn't have those self-limiting beliefs around what I could achieve.

I also let them know that it takes small steps every day in order to create your dream life.”
