Welcome back to Fright School! We are so happy to welcome actress, writer, producer, and friend Jennie Olsen Six to the show! We are still physically distancing in the remote learning center. Joshua has been catching up on THE EXORCIST tv series and reading LOVECRAFT COUNTRY ahead of the HBO television adaptation coming this fall. We take a rocky little trip down Joe's stream of consciousness that involves MONK and HOLLYWOOD. Jennie has been getting her Neil Gaiman on with AMERICAN GODS and GOOD OMENS. We hear about Jennie's past life as a blonde zombie hooker. After the break, we load up the jalopy and head to yet another cabin in the woods in search of THE EVIL DEAD. We discuss dendrophilia, Ash's masculinity, practical effects, and try to establish the difference between the film's female roles. Can we summon Bechdel up in here?
