This something that we all go through from time to time. I mean, we’re only human right. It’s hard to resist the urge to compare ourselves to others. But there’s a thin line between healthy and unhealthy comparisons. If you’re observing someone in admiration & using them as motivation to step up your game that can be considered a healthy comparison. However, when the thoughts turn inward and become negative when you’re comparing one person’s results to what you have not achieved it can become unhealthy.

 

Comparison Syndrome is a recipe for disaster, lower self-esteem, depression, envy, and unhappiness. You end up ultimately resenting others for being successful and that’s not the type of energy that will serve you well and make you productive towards your goals.
