Ep. 200: Master Stylist Milan J’s Promise Kept To Her Clients After 3 Decades In The Industry

On this episode of the Friends in Beauty podcast I welcome Milan Junchalearn to the Friends in Beauty guest chair. Here are two truths: there are no hair stylists out there quite like Milan Junchalearn and there are very few salons that can compete with hers. She’s a self-taught stylist whose first booth was a bathroom stall at the Fashion Institute in NYC back in the ’90s. Now, she’s the owner of Chi Bella Hair Studio Inc., a 5000-square-foot luxury salon located in Bowie, Maryland, specializing in hair growth and restoration. “No one touches us,” she states confidently.

As the boss lady of Chi Bella Hair Studio, Inc., her passion reflects in the care she and other

stylists provide at the salon. Over the years, it’s become a safe haven for Alopecia clients and the

go-to for hair growth. Her services include everything from one-on-one consultations and

protective hairstyles to micro-links and coloring, and she even has her own hand crafted hair care

line called Promise Kept that’s loved by clients near and far for its power to heal, hydrate, and

condition. She’s three decades in the game, and remains ahead of the curve in hair trends,

techniques, innovations, and products that make a difference to her clients.

A conversation could go on for hours if you ever talk to her about hair. Her mission is to educate

women on the beauty and versatility that rests in their crown and teach them all they need to

know about hair growth and maintenance. If you ever talk to her about life, you’ll immediately

As a mother of four, Milan knows what it’s like to balance work-life and motherhood. Luckily,
