This week the girls take aim at... English words, Like Why?
Sarah surprisingly opens with this week's topic on English words and gives a couple of examples of why they are a bit messed up. She then goes into her segment of words you may know but didn't know the meanings or origins of them.
Bianca trusty as ever, helped us out with some actual research on how and why a lot of English words came to be spelled or pronounced weird or they just don't make much sense in relation to what the word is for. She then gives us the origins of the words bathroom and fornicate.
Amy then finishes us off with words that start with KN, but only to have the K be silent when saying the word, like why bother having it there, well Bianca covered that. Amy was also inspired by the evolution of the English language and decided you can just make it up as you go along.
