The yoga magic happens when we fuse together not only the physical shapes (asanas) but also the other limbs of yoga: pranayama (breath work), pratyahara (sensory withdrawal), dhyana (meditation), etc. This makes for a much more  full experience for you and the students.  Kelly Smith, podcast host of "Mindfulness in Minutes" and founder of "Yoga for You Online," speaks to importance of incorporating more than just asana into our teaching.
