This show focusing in on our refreshing our anatomy knowledge of the shoulder joint and discussing its relevance to teaching  our yoga practice. Although our yoga practice should really promote optimal health to this joint, I am sure you have seen in your classes when students are compromising this area of their body. First, we will dive into the anatomy basics, then review some common poses where this joint can be compromised. As a bonus, I will share some poses and exercises which I incorporated into a recent class focusing specifically on shoulder health.
