After the successful premiere in Cannes in 2022 and its participation to many film festivals around the world, including Zurich Film festival and Alice Nella Città in Rome, Close by Lukas Dhont is finally coming out in italian cinemas. Dhont, in Italy to present the film, talks about being proud to belong to the great group of European directors like Ruben Ostlund and Alice Diop. Italian release – January 4th.

Close: The intense friendship between two thirteen-year old boys Leo and Remi suddenly gets disrupted. Struggling to understand what has happened, Leo approaches Sophie, Remi’s mother. Close is a film about friendship and responsibility. A film by Lukas Dhont. Starring Eden Dambrine, Gustav De Waele, Emilie Dequenne, Lea Drucker, Leon Bataille, Kevin Janssens.
