I’ve come across so many people over the years who felt like they had to continue going to 12-step meetings that weren’t healthy for them or that they had to do everything in their power to save an organization or a cause. They felt that all would be lost if they stopped going or contributing. Don’t get me wrong, I am a big fan of working hard and doing your part but I am not a big fan of taking on a meeting, an organization or a cause all on your own. This week’s episode 227 of the Fragmented to Whole Podcast is about why you don’t have to save the meeting, the organization, or the cause!

In this episode of the Fragmented to Whole Podcast, I’m sharing how guilt and shame keep us from setting boundaries and taking a step back from things that are no longer serving us in a positive way. I also share how our actions of bleeding ourselves dry make us poor role models to others looking to get involved.

If you’re not getting your needs met (or completely draining yourself) then it is time to move on. You deserve to have your needs met too.

Be sure to tune in to all the episodes to receive tons of practical tips on living a more whole life and to hear even more about the points outlined above.
