On this episode we are joined by Dave and Kalev of Shacklands Brewing to chat all about Shacklands! (Apologies for some technical issues.... Ryan's internet was not cooperating.)

Tune in as we chat about Shacklands history and how they came from a contract brewery to a bricks and mortar location, and the evolution of their beer. Shacklands leans into the Belgian styles of beers, which Ryan loves, and we learn about the core beers you can find at Shacklands and talk about taking old world styles and putting a new world spin on them! We also talk about some of the amazing small batch beers you can find here throughout the year!

We chat about how Shacklands was well known as a community hub prior to COVID and the impacts that had not only on Shacklands, but the community as well. Dave enlightens us to the plans for the future of Shacklands and what we can expect coming up including their involvement in the Red Beer Project as a part of Indigenous Brew Day.

Such an amazing chat with Dave and Kalev! We look forward to being able to visit in person again when the time allows!
