The word geno-cide is derived from the Greek word 'geno' for a race or people, and 'cide' means to kill. Throughout history there have been many blatant attempts to wipe out races of peoples or a gene pool. The question is, in the modern day, has this really stopped?

Or is it just happening in more subtle ways where what we subscribe to in everyday living keeps us so busy and caught up in a virtual reality, that we forget we have a greater purpose to fulfill? Are we gradually dying from the inside out without even realising it?
