That Thing You Do! A Splain' Patreon Special

'Splain finally releases one of its first Patreon episodes to you, the masses! 
We released this ep back in Sep but wanted to give you all the chance to hear what we're doing over on Patreon. 

Grace and Tyler sit down with Kirsten (composer of our fabulous theme song!) as we discuss the 1996 classic, That Thing You Do!  written and directed by Tom Hanks.

The movie's title track, written by Adam Schlesinger, was nominated for an Academy Award  for Best Original Song. Schlesinger unfortunately lost the award to Andrew Lloyd Webber's  "You Must Love Me" performed by Madonna. So just to be thorough, we listen to other other songs nominated that year to make sure that was a fair decision (spoiler: it's not).
