On this week’s Truth To Power, we gather folks into the virtual studio for a community conversation about the classic 1993 text, "Race Matters" by Cornel West. The book analyzes moral authority and racial debates in the U.S. It questions matters of economics, politics, ethics, and spirituality; and it also addresses the crisis in black American leadership.

Forward Radio’s Justin Mog (Sustainability Now!) Hart Hagan (The Climate Report / Let’s Talk), and K.A. Owens (On The Edge) discuss these issues with Jake Bush from DSA Louisville, and Kelly McGuffey, a mother and activist out of Springfield, TN who grew up in Muncie, Indiana and Huntsville, Alabama.

On Truth to Power each week, we gather Forward Radio programmers and friends to discuss the state of the world, the nation, the state, and the city! It's a community conversation like you won't hear anywhere else!

Truth to Power airs every Sunday at 4pm, Monday at 2pm, and Tuesday at 9am on Louisville's grassroots, community radio station, Forward Radio 106.5fm WFMP and live streams at http://forwardradio.org
