On this week's show, we bring you the second half of a two-part series featuring some amazing speakers from the 2nd Annual Community Research Expo presented by Louisville's Root Cause Research Center on February 26, 2022. You'll hear from representatives of the Rowan County Listening Project and then presentations by all three of RCRC's Community Researchers, Woody Pryor, Mariel Gardner, and Joynee Woodward.
In June 2021, Root Cause Research Center launched the second annual Community Research Incubator. With support and training from RCRC, these three brilliant and determined Community Researchers were able to develop two compelling and critical research projects on Black land dispossession and the role of academia in propping up and protecting policing in Louisville.
