Dust off your bike for this week’s Sustainability Now!, as your host, Justin Mog, takes you for a spin with friends from Falls City Community Bikeworks (http://fccbikeworks.org)! Laurance Levine is the Executive Director, and he is joined in studio by one of the Founders, John Krueger. Join us as we discuss the history of the city’s only cooperative, not-for-profit bike shop and what's on the horizon with events happening this spring!

FCCB is located in beautiful Shelby Park at 1217 Logan St. The current hours for their Public Open Shop are:
Sundays: 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
Wednesdays: 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM

FCCB will be hosting the next Green Drinks on Wednesday, March 15th at 6pm at Falls City Community BikeWorks, 1217 Logan St.
Green Drinks is a casual monthly meet-up of community members and organizations organized by the Louisville Sustainability Council. Each month they host different speakers from across the city to educate and inform the community on local happenings, projects, and initiatives. Each presentation is followed by Q&A, discussion, and networking. For this month’s Green Drinks, we will convene at Falls City Community BikeWorks, where we will learn more about FCCB's operation, and how you can become a member to work on your own bike! BYOB, and after party to follow at Canary Club. Ride your bike there to be entered to win awesome door prizes! This event is free and open to the public, so bring a friend and we look forward to seeing you there! Learn more at http://louisvillesustainabilitycouncil.org.

As always, our feature is followed by your community action calendar for the week, so get your calendars out and get ready to take action for sustainability NOW!
