On this week’s show, we spend some quality time with Iyana Burton, recent winner of the 2022 Outstanding Student Award in UofL’s Sustainability Masters Program! Iyana graduated from the University of Louisville in December 2021 with a Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies with a Concentration in Sustainability, after majoring in Communication as an undergrad at UofL. She is just launching her career in sustainability and, in addition to some great advice for people starting out in the field, she shares her story of working as a Development Coordinator for Wilderness Louisville (https://www.wildernesslouisville.org/) and her previous experience interning with the Partnership for a Green City (https://www.partnershipforagreencity.org/) and Kentucky Waterways Alliance (https://www.kwalliance.org/).
