We are celebrating Independence Day with tips on how you can declare energy independence and freedom from fossil fuels by tapping into the power of the sun! This week we’ll hear from Andy McDonald, Director of Apogee - Climate & Energy Transitions, a Program of Earth Tools (https://apogeeclimate.org/); and Patrick Ferrell with the Solar Over Louisville installer, Solar Energy Solutions (https://www.sesre.com/). Andy shares all the basics you need to know as you consider solar power for your home, business, church, farm, or any other setting; and Patrick offers great information on home battery systems for solar – when you should consider them and when you shouldn’t.
