Francesco Da Vinci is a Los Angeles based journalist, author, and nonviolent activist. As a conscientious objector to the Vietnam war, he was threatened with a five-year prison term for refusing induction. After three years in the appellate court system, he won his case the same year that Muhammad Ali won his case - 1971. Francesco has just published a book titled "I Refuse to Kill." The book reflects his own story as well as the story of COs throughout American history.
