My brother Sam and I discuss what it was like living in a Cult group known as Synanon during the late 1960's to early 1970's. Together, we trace its beginnings as a drug and alcohol rehab club, its heyday as an alternative lifestyle movement, and its eventual decline -- and this, being from the vantage of both of us having lived there, albeit at different facilities, during a very tumultuous period in the history of this country.
