Hear more from student winners of the 2020 Kentucky Academy of Science annual undergraduate student competition. This week its all about research on Telomeres! First, there is Maray Baker and Haven Jacob of Eastern Kentucky University ('Failure of Fungal Telomeres to Maintain Sequence Integrity at Chromosome Ends in Magnaporthe'), and then Trey Stansfield of Western Kentucky University ('TeloReport: Extraction and Classification of Telomeric Raw Reads and Identification of Potential De Novo Telomeres?').

Then, Scott Miller (Maysville Community & Technical College) provides a look at the physics behind baking a chocolate cake! The show ends with a poem written and read for this episode by author Leslie Moise. It's called 'The Cooking Equation'.
