In these difficult and strange times, we at Forward Radio have been reflecting on what an incredible pleasure it has been over the past three and a half years to sit down with so many incredible guests in the studios of Forward Radio and make some radio magic together! As fun as it has been, sadly that magic is not sustained by our time, creativity, and thoughtfulness alone. Indeed, it takes a little money to keep a radio station running. Forward Radio WFMP 106.5 FM community radio is a Louisville treasure the exists solely to:
- Showcase and amplify local voices and issues (…LIKE YOURS!);
- Train, mentor, and equip citizens to take to the airwaves; and
- Protect a small slice of the airwaves for the public interest rather than corporate and special interests.
