On this week’s edition of the Access Hour, we bring you the University of Louisville Department of Women & Gender Studies’ 2019 Minx Auerbach Lecture by Cherrie Moraga, co-editor of "This Bridge Called My Back: Writings by Radical Women of Color," republished in a new edition in 2015. She is a political and literary essayist and has published several collections of writings. Moraga is the recipient of the United States Artist Rockefeller Fellowship for Literature, the American Studies Association Lifetime Achievement Award, and the Lambda Foundation's "Pioneer" award. The title of her talk given on March 4th at the UofL Planetarium was: ‘Man Up:’ Queer Identities and the Spirit of Radical Dissidence.
