Forefront's Web3 Creator Residency has launched its 2nd cohort of Resident Creators:

Kabuki (Residency game plan)

Nico (Agartha Village Figma)

d3mo (yh⁴ project)

During the Residency, our Resident Creators will be workshopping their projects, learning and building in public, and sharing their challenges along the way. Each Monday, they'll gather for our weekly Open Studio.

Listen in on the W3CR Open Studio now:

Last week, Nico's Residency sessions explored the belief systems that motivate creators. What is the higher belief motivating Nico's project? "We want to elevate consciousness," Nico said, conceding this may sound "super cheesy and very L.A."
But how do we make the world a better place?, asks Nico in all seriousness. We can all agree that we want to live in a beautiful, humane environment. This is the common ground that inspires Nico's project which explores technically, how can we live in harmony with Nature?
d3mo shares the unique inspiration behind the name of his project (ytrium and hydrogen, a chemical combination that is not actually possible in our world and would destroy it if they were somehow brought together) and h/ts the book Codex Seraphinianus.
Kabuki's 1st week of Residency emphasizes the importance of performing "due diligence" - immersing oneself in the history and pioneers of a field of art (in this case, generative art) before diving into create oneself.
Kabuki shares the astonishing story of how Buckminster Fuller invented "high-frequency sleep" - a method for increasing his productivity and waking hours while reducing the number of hours of sleep required!

Note: we have published the audio/video as originally recorded on the Riverside.fm platform; please excuse any hiccups as we build in public!
