SPOILER WARNING: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER
Did you hear it?! That's our new theme song, written by the multi-talented Mike Wozniak. We love it and think it totally suits us! Thanks again, Dr. Woz!
Kids! In this episode we break from novel form and bring you a movie that Megan finally got Johnathon to watch, Joe Wright's Pride and Prejudice (2005). Watch the movie for the hand flex alone if you haven't seen it.
I know, I know.
It's not the BBC miniseries staring Colin Firth. Megan's here for that version too, but 6+ hours of Regency match arranging is a little much for Johnathon.
(We reference "arranging matches" a lot. If you haven't seen Eddie Izzard's Dress to Kill stand up special, here's the clip that explains what arranging matches means--but really, watch the whole special because it's one of our favoritest stand-up specials.)
Also, here's the personality test we took to see which character out of ALL THE CHARACTERS (okay, not all but many many) we most closely resemble. Megan's April Ludgate from Parks & Rec, followed by Melisandre, Luna Lovegood, Michael Scott, & Darth Vader (spot on all around) and Johnathon is Charlie Young from The West Wing, followed by Obi-Wan Kenobi, Aragorn, Captain America, and pretty much every hero ever (also spot on).
In other entertainment, if you haven't fallen down the Postmodern Jukebox rabbit hole, you're welcome. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AaSxhKf5pV0
Catch us next time as we discuss Kate Clayborne's Love Lettering and remember,
Fuck that bitch, Carol Baskin.
Thank you and good night.
