"The Many Faces of Innovation" with guest, Dr Tom Caray -  

A serial intrapreneur for innovation in higher education teaching and learning, Tom currently works in Canada and internationally as a “connector, coach and catalyst” for strategic innovation within higher education institutions, networks and systems. Tom is the Chairman of Workplace Innovation Canada Network, Executive-in-Residence for Teaching and Learning Innovation, British Columbia Association of Institutes and Universities, Victoria B.C. Canada, Monash University Faculty of Arts, Melbourne VIC Australia. Tom also served as Associate Vice-President for Learning Resources and Innovation at the University of Waterloo.

 In this episode, Tom Carey differentiates between invention and innovation, highlighting the importance of social innovation in both higher education and in the workplace, as a means for increasing Canada’s capacity and capability for innovation. Mobilizing new ideas to create "better work and better impacts"  in a world characterized by disruption and change.
