It was an absolute privilege to talk to Leo Hickman the director of Carbon Brief. The Carbon Brief is an invaluable and trusted resource for the latest development in climate science as well as energy and climate policy.

In 2003 Leo worked for the Guardian newspaper. His editor asked him to take part in a journalistic experiment to live an ethical life for one year. Leo, his wife and his new born baby undertook a year that would change his life while writing a column called 'a life stripped bare', an honest account and the reality of trying to life a sustainable life. The column was later published as a book.

Leo takes us through his thoughts on being a journalist in our changing climate and how the impact of climate change is profound and far reaching and there is a need to inform every corner of the planet.

He discusses what he sees as two key moments in societal awareness of climate change; the election of Donald Trump and the rise of Greta Thunberg. He also talks about Ed Hawkins and how the Climate Stripes is one of the most impactful images of Climate Change.

A thought provoking podcast that we hope you enjoy and hopefully sparks a conversation about our changing climate.
