Abbie Dewhurst talks about doing 200 forecasts a day

Abbie Dewhurst is a northern girl through and through. Born in Grimsby, she nailed her dream job at 22 presenting the weather. Abbie tells us how every day is a challenge and she never stops learning and just can't imagine a life without weather. From 200 broadcasts a day, to creating Tik Tok videos to presenting the weather on the evening news she glides seamlessly between platforms . Abbie says that all the hours are worth it, particularly when she receives positive messages from people, some even telling her how she helped them pass their GCSE's when they came across her TikTok account where she teaches the science behind the weather.
