Finals have been ripping us a new one! However, we have a VERY special guest this week, founder of Facebook group Word On The Street Brandon Weston! This week we discuss the beginnings of the group, as well as future aspirations that Brandon has for the group.
Later on we dive all the way in on the Tekashi 6ix9ine trial, and what that means for his future down the line. Brandon breaks down the ideology behind separating the person from the music, and even breaks down why 6ix9ine is so popular which brings us into the good ol' Russ debate.
Our review of Meek Mill's Championships focuses mostly on beef, and what seems to be everyone finally deciding to chill out (well, everyone except for Mr. Problematic himself Rick Ross).
Swae Lee also announced that he's interested in playing Miles Morales in a future Spider-Man movie, and we discuss whether he can make the transition or not, and also take a brief look into rappers making the transition into movies.
Besides that, make sure to join the Word On The Street Facebook group to get in on some DOPE conversations and discussions on music, and of course follow us on Twitter @ForTheCultureQU (we have a lot of surprises for you all this upcoming winter break) don't forget to subscribe for more dope content!
