Founded in 2011, An Officer and Gentlewoman LLC (AOAGWLLC), is a Veteran-Owned full-service media and entertainment company located in both Washington, DC and Atlanta, Ga. The company specializes in Production, Brand management, Talent management and Public Relations.

Raquel Riley Thomas is also a beauty queen. She is Mrs. Prince George's County 2010, Mrs. Maryland America 2010 and Mrs. America 2011 (1st RU). In 2020 Raquel founded Raquel Riley Thomas Beauty, a long-wear performance based cosmetic brand. The brand has been awarded the Consumer Goods Technology 2022 award and the Rosie Network Veteran Startup of the Year

Raquel Riley Thomas is also a Beauty and Fashion Expert. She has over 22 year's experience in fashion, beauty and lifestyle. Raquel Riley Thomas has been a television commentator on FOX, ABC, NBC, and Reelz.

Raquel is a decorated military veteran, having served nine years in the U.S. Army (5-years enlisted photojournalist; 4-years Ordinance Officer) until 2002.  She is Distinguished Military Graduate from the Reserve Officer Training Corps at Hampton University

She has a degree in Psychology from Hampton University and a Certification in Negotiations from Harvard Business School.
