The Pork Chop - Grief + Loss with Meg Nye

**CW: Death, suicide, grief are the subject of this episode starting at 31:21** We are so excited to finally introduce our good friend Meg Nye on this week's (very heavy and verrrry long) episode of the pod. Meg is one of the funniest people we know, and is here to tell her story and provide guidance for this highly requested episode. Before we get into the real tough meat this week, the girls banter in typical FB&W fashion. Jess tells her and Meg's origin story, Rach comes clean about her FYP, and the girls go on a long tangent about technology and social media and how it has affected our lives and society. 

Our topic this week is a heavy one, and one we want everyone to approach cautiously and when you are in the right headspace - your mental health is the most important! This episode is really long, but is filled with honest conversations specifically regarding losing loved ones to suicide. Meg tells the story of losing her best friend, her heartache with that, and the wisdom she is able to provide is truly unmatched. Rach opens up about her struggles with self-harm, suicide and depression. And Jess shares some heartbreaking news that happened in her family over our break between season 1 and 2. There are plenty of tears shed this episode, so make sure you are in a safe space to listen and absorb. This is a really freaking good one, and all the credit goes to Meg being willing to share her story and love for Jenny. Let's all have a peanut butter cup in her memory.
